One of 1200 930 Turbos built in the 1979 model year for the US market. This car was delivered new by Jim Jeffords Motorcar Co. in Brookfield WI to its only owner, a Brookfield resident.

In addition to the rare color and tartan wool seats, this car has the following options: Limited slip differential, Heated OSRV mirror, Sport seats, left and right, Electric sliding sunroof, AM-FM Stereo radio with electric antenna and, deleted (put in trunk) gravel guard protectors. Dealer installed options include: Polyglycoat paint protection, Identicar glass etching and, rust proofing.

Matching numbers as verified by the original window sticker and Porsche Certificate Of Authenticity. Full documentation including dealer invoice and service records. Everything works on this car including the clock and radio. The only modifications from new are: lowered suspension to Euro specs with a bump-steer kit and, removal of the US only Thermal Reactors replaced with correct Euro exhaust headers using new gaskets, nuts and bolts. Thermal Reactors have been retained and stay with the car.

Recent service includes, oil service (Mobil 1), replace engine-lid struts, replace engine sound pad, replace oil level sending unit gasket, adjust clutch, adjust valves with new valve gaskets, replace fan belt, check head studs (all intact), leak-down test (all 3% - 6%) and, grease and adjust front wheel bearings. The only flaws on the car are a few stone chips on hood and front bumper (touched up) and slight delamination on the right edge of the windshield.

This early 930 Turbo runs and drives like a new car and must be seen to be appreciated.
