These E320 Cabriolets are among my favorite full-sized Mercedes. Produced in limited quantity for only two model years, 1994 and 1995, I believe these cars are destined to become highly collectible in the future, much the same as the 280SE Cabriolets of the early '70's are today. These E-Class convertibles were produced largely by hand and they sold, when new, for more than $80,000, a very high price in the mid-1990's.
The E320 is powered by the reliable and proven Mercedes 217 h.p. 3.2 liter fuel-injected I-6 motor with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes included most of their luxury options as standard equipment on this model: climate-controlled air-conditioning with automatic temperature control, power windows, power convertible top, power steering, 4-wheel anti-lock (ABS) disc brakes, cruise control, central locking system, power 10-way heated seats, 2-position memory driver's seat, dual air bags, integrated roll-over protection, security system, rear seat wind deflector, Blaupunct AM-FM stereo radio with power antenna, powered telescopic steering wheel, and alloy wheels. This car has the optional trunk-mounted 6-CD player. Included also are all manuals, first-aid kit and, the factory tool kit, still in its original wrapper.
I have now owned 15 of these wonderful cars and they remain my favorite full-size convertible for casual summertime driving. Many of these cars that I have sold were purchased by buyers who owned one when they were new and, wished they had never let them go. I plan to always have at least one to enjoy myself.
