Commonly referred to as the Advance Design Series, these trucks were the first GM re-design post WWII. This series was introduced in June 1947 and were manufactured and sold, with various minor changes, through March 1955.
The 1950 model 3100 introduced telescopic shock absorbers, replacing the lever-action type. It was the last year for the driver's side cowl vent. The restoration was completed in 2006, including a complete engine re-build. It has been used sparingly since. Everything works except the factory correct radio. The odometer shows 65,425 miles.
This beautiful example is a real eye-catcher and is ready to enjoy, drive, and show.
