The 1962 Cadillac Series 62 was the last year for the lower "Skeg" fins, complementing the tasteful upper tail fins. The car is powered by a 390 cu. in. OHV V-8 producing 325 H.P. Recent service includes: re-built automatic transmission, new 12-volt battery and tie-down, new water pump, new gas cap, changing of all fluids and filters, complete radiator flush and new thermostat, new power seat control, new gas lines, new front stabilizer links, re-built generator, tune-up and, front-end alignment.
A new blue convertible top and top boot have been installed (same color as original). The car also includes a cover and many spare parts. The only things that do not work are the clock, the electric antenna (it operates manually) and, a couple of the cigarette lighters. While this example is not a 100-point show car, it will be welcome a any car show and attracts attention where ever you go. It rides like only a vintage Cadillac can and is a true joy to drive.
